Or in other words another long vehicle not meant to use small Cornish roads getting stuck again!
This time it was a coach from Germany that got itself wedged at the top of Pentewan hill. It was there for so long that the passengers all got off and walked into the village for a cup of coffee and an ice cream.
Eventually after an hour of backing and turning the coach managed the corner. It was a close call at the bottom of the hill, where the B&Q lorry got stuck, but the coach did make the angle to round the corner.
After stopping to pick all the passengers up it just managed to make it across the bridge to head off to Heligan.
Maybe the Highways Agency will now listen to the village and make changes to the SatNav systems!
